About Xanthophyll
Xanthophylls are a class of yellow to red carotenoids that are commonly found in marigold flowers (Tagetes erecta), and some microorganisms. They are known for their antioxidant properties and are important for various aspects of animal nutrition, including poultry nutrition and Xanthophylls are not produced by poultry themselves, so they need to obtain them from their diet. Adding xanthophyll-rich ingredients like marigold extract, maize & maize gluten to the poultry feed can help increase the levels of xanthophylls in the birds' tissues, resulting in improved pigmentation.
About Lutein
Lutein and xanthophyll are related compounds that belong to a group of phytochemicals known as carotenoids. Both lutein and xanthophyll are yellow pigments found in various fruits, vegetables, and other plants.

Note: Lutein and zeaxanthin are two common carotenoid pigments found in corn. So ACT - Marigold 2% Oil contains 1% of lutein and 1% of xanthophyll which are equal to 600 to 700 Kg of whole corn’s pigments.
